Honest status

What works today — and what doesn't.

This is our own list of gaps. We publish it because a list without gaps proves nothing — it only tells you that someone smoothed it out. Everything under “Today” we checked ourselves. Everything else sits under “In development” or “Planned”, together with the reason it doesn't count yet.

As of 29 July 2026

Live

Today

Working, usable, checked — on 28 and 29 July, on app.domivendomo.com or in the production system.

  • A listing without account or app

Every published listing is an ordinary web page with photos, description, amenities and map — your guest opens it without signing up and without installing anything.

  • One QR code per listing, counted server-side

Every listing has its own code as PDF, PNG and SVG for printing, and every scan is counted on our server before it leads straight to the listing.

  • The question asked of a listing

Signed-in guests ask right on the listing page; the answer comes from the details you gave us, and every answer is visibly labelled as AI.

  • Reviews only from real bookings

Every listing states in plain words where reviews may come from: a real, completed booking. That is why the field is empty today — and here that is the more honest display.

  • Four categories in the app

Staying, living, driving, dining — in the app each category has its own search with filters and a map view. The public inventory behind it is small; see below.

  • Arabic with a fully mirrored layout

The web app runs in English, German and Arabic, this site in five languages; in Arabic the entire interface flips, instead of translated text sitting in a European layout.

  • Your numbers per listing (in the app)

For each of your listings there are views, QR scans and booking requests over a period — three numbers per property, in the mobile app. In the browser this area is not wired up yet.

  • We build your listing for you

From your website address and written permission we build the draft — room types, house rules, photos sorted. The photo set is the weakest part of it, and the draft trusts your website: out-of-date prices travel straight in. That is why a human reviews it before anything goes live.

  • Two-factor login and account deletion (in the app)

You can secure your account with a second factor and delete it, data included, without a support ticket. Both run in the mobile app today; the browser has no interface for it.

In development

In development

Built, but not finished or not rolled out. We only count it once you can use it.

  • The iOS and Android apps

Built and tested, but in no store: we are republishing them under our own accounts. Until then, everything runs in the browser.

  • Asking without signing in

Free guest questions are ready in the backend, the connection in the web app is missing — and we will not switch it on before our privacy policy says what gets stored.

  • Creating a listing yourself

The wizard breaks off today; the fault sits in the interface, not in the data. Until it is fixed, we create your listing for you.

  • 360° tours on a listing

Viewer and file validation are in place and the production loading error is fixed in the code — but we have not measured it live yet, and no public listing carries a tour today.

  • Bookings in the host area

The request arrives, approving and declining are built — the tab for it is not switched on in production yet.

  • Messaging the host

Chat, including the masking of phone numbers and e-mail addresses, is built; the button on the listing page stays off until we have decided how contact details are released.

  • The document vault

Switched off since 10 July. We have decided to rebuild it — and it stays off until cost, data situation and every text are settled.

  • The company showcase

One page per business, with rooms, restaurant and car hire side by side: present on the server, not yet wired up on the web.

Planned

Planned

Decided, but not built. Where we name a timeframe, it is the honest one, not the pretty one.

  • Confirmation by e-mail at reception

Every request lands as an e-mail at your reception, one click confirms or declines — no login, no dashboard. For that we first have to rebuild our own mail delivery.

  • Calendar sync via iCal

You give us a calendar address from your system, we only show what is genuinely free, and we hand our requests back to you.

  • A real booking channel

Through a channel manager, with bookings and cancellations flowing automatically both ways. We deliberately name no date — there is no connection, and a timeframe would be a promise we cannot keep.

  • A direct PMS connection

For chains and luxury houses, near real time. No date here either: we only start once a specific house stands behind it.

  • Payments

As soon as our licence question is settled. Until then we switch on nothing that moves money.

  • 360° capture from a phone

Today we come with a 360° camera; guided capture from your own phone is planned, not built.

  • A discovery feed

A home screen that suggests instead of only searching. That needs inventory and usage data, and both are only just being built up.

  • Arabic in the mobile app

This site and the web app speak Arabic with a mirrored layout, the mobile app does not yet. That is its own wave of work, not a side task.

  • Live Witness

A planned feature: prospects ask questions to be answered by current guests, recent reviewers or past visitors.

What we cannot do today

Six sentences we would rather say ourselves than have you find out.

  • No app of our own in any store

Everything runs in the browser. What can still be found on the App Store today comes from our former agency.

  • No money moves here

Payments are switched off until our licence question is settled: the payment provider runs in test mode, and there is no payout path.

  • No connection to your booking system

No PMS, no channel manager, no calendar sync — and we do not check availability. A booking request is a request; your calendar stays the truth.

  • The AI does not read contracts

It answers solely from the details you gave us. Nothing evaluates uploaded documents today — the vault has been switched off since 10 July.

  • Our public inventory is small

Five public listings, four of them our own examples and labelled as examples. Any larger number attributed to us is old, and we are taking it down.

  • The map on the home page is a picture

Its twelve pins are made up and link to nothing. They show what the platform is built for — not what is on it right now.

  • The world map shows no inventory

The cities are fixed in the code — the map shows what the platform is built for, not where listings sit today. The line “12+ cities” stood above it until 29 July 2026; it is gone.

  • The chat on the home page is a demo

Its messages are hard-coded, not a real conversation. How the AI actually answers, you see on a listing.

  • The support form only opens your mail app

It then reports success even if no mail was ever created. There is no help centre yet. When in doubt, write to us directly.

  • We verify no identities

There is no host verification here. Wherever the word “verified” still appears on this website, it is a leftover from old example cards — we are clearing them out. As long as you see it, it means nothing.

Our old website said twelve thousand listings sat here. We deleted that, because it wasn't true. Other leftovers are still standing — the world map with “12+ cities”, for instance, or the word “verified”. We are clearing them out, and until then it says so here. That is the company you are dealing with.
